Pat
Falco
Pat Falco is an artist and organizer from Boston, Massachusetts. He received his BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and his work has been shown across the country from SPACE Gallery in Maine, to Parklife in San Francisco, and many other galleries and public spaces. In both large-scale, conceptual public art projects and small, original paintings alike, his interest lies in highlighting and critiquing the absurdities of everyday life. The works he brings to the March Exhibit transform little snippets, thoughts, and drawings from his sketchbook into complete presentations to the viewer, more formally and fully composed but retaining the levity and immediacy of his sketches. Falco finds that his visual references to nostalgic imagery, comics, signage, and ambiguous narratives help touch on ludicrous and hidden truths that constantly surround us all.
