Legleitner

One of two bodies of work by Emily Legleitner, You can see it on the horizon now comprises imagery of the artist interacting with herself, addressing feelings of uncertainty and vulnerability during moments of transition. More recent works delve into the larger, global uncertainty we are collectively living, with more abstract imagery representing overwhelming accumulation. Emily Legleitner holds a BFA in Studio Art from Stamps School of Art & Design at the University of Michigan and is currently an MFA candidate at the University of Alberta. Emily was selected as a 2020 Artist-in-Residence with Sager Braudis Gallery. Despite the pandemic cancellation of her stay, she exhibits on-schedule this month in her debut with us.
