Albright
After months of isolation this past year, Craig Albright and his 11-year-old daughter started a daily tradition of an afternoon drive. When online classes came to a close each day, they’d wander local back roads, he curating music and she taking pictures along the way. Her photos became the seeds for his new paintings, and the two bonded over their love of the pastoral landscape. Craig Albright was born in Sioux City. He holds a BFA from the University of Iowa and an MFA from Indiana University-Bloomington. He has lived in Iowa City since 1998, where he currently keeps his studio. Craig has exhibited with Sager Braudis Gallery since 2018.
