Carrie Shryock was born and raised in central Missouri, and finds endless inspiration in the beautiful complexity of the natural world, and the colors of the changing seasons here in the Midwest. Carrie attended the University of Missouri where she studied art education, and went on to teach in the Columbia Public Schools. Currently she is working as a full-time artist and illustrator, utilizing a variety of media, both traditional and digital. Her illustration work has been applied to wallpaper, fabric, dishes, bedding, and greeting cards by national-scale brands. The September Exhibit provides Shryock’s many followers the rare opportunity to own very limited-edition prints of compositions she’s created in a combination of tangible and digital methods.
