Wan
Artist and Illustrator Andrea Wan was born in Hong Kong, raised in Vancouver, and is now based in Berlin. Her work has graced the likes of The New York Times, Art & Design Magazine, and Juxtapoz, among many others, and is widely collected around the world. Working mostly in ink on paper, Wan sees her work as a visual journal that reflects her inner thoughts and experiences. She combines traditional narrative aesthetics with surrealist qualities through an intriguing manipulation of media. Wan finds inspiration in nature and the people around her, drawing introspectively on her subconscious reinterpretations of the everyday.
