Meyer

Amy Meyer studied art at University of Central Missouri, Indiana State University, and Columbia College, where she completed her degree in painting and drawing. Her work has been featured on CNN Online, Les Bourgeois Artisan Wine Label, and in Lake Lifestyles Magazine, among other publication and honors, and can be found in private and corporate collections including those of Water For Elephants author Sara Gruen, Houser Millard, True Media, and Simmons Bank. Her newest series, Meadows of Gaia, is inspired by recent travels and the consideration of lands and regions with distinctive features. The artist says, “I don’t consider myself a landscape painter in the truest of form, but I’m drawn to creating environments that combine elements of layering of color and texture that lend themselves to read like a landscape.”
