Jennifer Belair Sakarian is a mixed media artist and reverent observer of the natural world. She received her MFA from Wayne State University in 2018 before spending a transformative season working in Yellowstone National Park—an experience that reoriented her life and deepened her relationship with nature. Sakarian’s works in Mirage function as vibrant, intuitive meditations on longing, mystery, and the search for meaning beneath the surface. They express a thirst for connection—both with the natural world and the shifting inner terrain of the self.
